The river speed limit is 5mph, so plan your trip by time rather than distance.
Upstream and down
Days Lock and back is a comfortable two hours and the trip most people take. Head further and you can moor at the Beetle & Wedge at Moulsford for a meal, or make a day of it down to Goring and Pangbourne. Oxford is a four to five hour cruise one way.
