Claudette went out on her first hire, taking Pete, Peter, Jude and Mary on a short break on the Thames. They absolutely loved her – and the weather! Lots of compliments on the way too, we felt so proud – all that work has been definitely worth it 🙂

Benson Waterfront is where will now be based – soon be set up there, ready for the new season. We think you will be impressed and love our new surroundings – we certainly do. Everyone there is very helpful and the Waterfront Cafe is perfect, particularly if you arrive early
This is the layout of Claudette – as you can see – different to Bernadette even though pretty much the same size boat. Claudette can sleep 4 easily with the option for 2 double beds. There is another single in the rear cabin, where there can either be one double
Claudette lV is nearly ready! This picture again is how she was, probably 30 years ago! She now has lovely light blue ‘bridge’ windows, the same colour also used on galley cupboards and in the cockpit. She now has brand a new push pit and pull pit. brand new handrails,
We are the only holiday hire company on the upper Thames who hire out classic wooden motor cruisers. We have a Bates Star Craft, known for it’s style and innovation in the Industry, built in 1952, and a 28ft cruiser- totally refurbished – quite possibly from Dunkirk times!
Please note – we do require there to be at least one capable person on board, who has previous boating experience.
We also have a small fleet of wooden Day Boats, to hire by the hour or day. Canoes and rowing boats will be added soon.
