Ruby has made it home from Holland / Belgium. Jeff and Colin brought her back via Nieuwpoort, across to Ramsgate, then round the corner and in to Faversham, where she is now on hardstanding.
A bit of work to do on her, re-varnishing and painting then we will decide if she is going to join our hire ‘fleet’. Watch this space……
We are the only holiday hire company on the upper Thames who hire out classic wooden motor cruisers. We have a Bates Star Craft, known for it’s style and innovation in the Industry, built in 1952, and a 28ft cruiser- totally refurbished – quite possibly from Dunkirk times!
Please note – we do require there to be at least one capable person on board, who has previous boating experience.
We also have a small fleet of wooden Day Boats, to hire by the hour or day. Canoes and rowing boats will be added soon.
