We have 2 classic wooden motor cruisers, and currently 3 16ft wooden clinker day boats from the 50's and 60's. Plans to include rowing boats, canoes and some paddle boards next season!

Benson Ferries

We now run a ferry service from the Waterfront at Benson Marina, over to the lock cut at Benson Lock, due to the closure of the bridge over the weir....

At the moment only Saturdays and Sundays – 10.00am till 5.00 pm.

We are the only holiday hire company on the upper Thames who hire out classic wooden motor cruisers. We have a Bates Star Craft, known for it’s style and innovation in the Industry, built in 1952, and a 28ft cruiser- totally refurbished – quite possibly from Dunkirk times!

Please note – we do require there to be at least one capable person on board, who has previous boating experience.

We also have a small fleet of wooden Day Boats, to hire by the  hour or day. Canoes and rowing boats will be added soon.
